I can't find the remote for my RCA XL100 commercial skip tv. I need to change the channel to 3 or 4 for the cable box to work. The menu button on front does nothing. Do I need to buy a new RCA remote? The Comcast universal remote doesn't seem to work.

Probably but remotes dont just vanish it might be a better idea just to open up the couch and the fridge and everywhere else you already looked.

I have the same TV and use my cable remote to control it. You'll need to find the Manufacturer's code for the TV and follow the setup directions for your cable remote. It's pretty simple. If you don't have your cable remote manual, check online. That's where I found mine.
