Why are Chirstian's responses to questions about evolution and Noah's ark so rediculous?

I am a Christian and believe in evolution! I believe when God created everything He did it through evolution and over time. He put things into motion that eventualy came to what we have now. Most things in the Bible or scripture are symbolic, God created the Heavens and The Earth, OVER TIME, (He has an awful lot of it )

Not al Christians. Most of liberal and enlightend Christians do not give you a rediculous answer. They do not take these passages literally. In the past most of theologians were conservative and they had no rational responses to difficult parts of the Bible. But now christian theologians are thinking more logical, rational and realistic.

I don't think most "Chirstian's" replies are "rediculous". I think there are extemist views on all sides and there can be unintelligable answers to any question.

This is a very tainted question. If I answer no, then I haven't noticed the ridiculousness of the answers and it also assumes that I know the answer to the question and can therefore rank how silly the answers are. If I answer yes, I agree that ALL of the Christian responses have been ridiculous, again with the assumption that I know the answer to the question. I prefer to play a game when the rules are fair for all.
