  • no. RAID stands for redundant array of inexpensive disks and implies plural. you can't have any sort of raid setup with less than two disks. it just doesn't work.
  • The people who've answered already have made the point, but what I wonder is what context are you asking this question. Are you trying to decide whether to get a motherboard with RAID capability?
