  • I would either contact your dealer (if you want the exact rims that come on the pre-runner) or check out ebay, or probably the best option is to go to a site like http://tirerack.com where you can see what the different wheels and tires look like on your vehicles, as well as which ones will fit. good luck, and good choice of vehicle. Toyotas are awesome. :P
  • If you want to sit up higher then merely changing tires will NOT work. I don't care what anybody else tells you, but unless you do the required suspension work to avoid your tires scrubbing the inside of the wheel well then you're just ricing your truck and making it undrivable (and possibly unsafe). A common problem is gearing. Many people get the bigger tires and the suspension mods to support them, but then wind up with poor gas mileage, bad handling, poor acceleration, and get stuck in the mud more. Try pulling away from a red light in 2nd gear and you'll see what to expect. Oh, and your speedometer and odometer will no longer be accurate. Don't cheap out. Do it right. If you are only going for slightly larger then you should be fine. By "a little" I an talking an inch or less. Any more than that and you'll either spend money or screw up your truck.
