Why do men seem to be so much more crude than women in regard to sexual things?

In the past women were expected to be innocent of any knowledge of sexuality and were expected to be submissive in the bedroom. They were supposed to take it and not expected to enjoy it - because for women sex was all about reproduction, and to enjoy sex was sinful. The idea that sexual enjoyment was sinful for women was enforced/created by men in order to keep women subserviant within a marriage and to ensure they did not have sex with any other men - because if a woman had sex with another man, there was no way of telling who the father of the child was, and no man wanted to raise a child that wasn't his. These sorts of attitudes have carried over to today, with women being a lot more polite and a lot less open about their sexual habits and tastes than men.
