Try ignoring them and treating them really badly. They'll be falling all over you. lol

Approach them yourself.

always ask questions that require a full answer(no yes or no questions) and make them comfortable by giving them hugs when you see them. everyone loves a hug.

First of all, I don't know why American women act like there is some law against them approaching guys. This is the year 2009 not the dark ages, you are allowed to approch a guy. I travel outside of the United States a lot for my job, and I have had lots of women in other countries approach me. I didn't think badly about them for approaching me, I was actually impressed that they had the courage to approach a guy. We had a great time together. American women need to be more assertive, because you are missing out by hoping that guys will approach them.
