All of my recent ebay experiences have been positive. The only negative one was back when ebay first went online and they didnt have paypal etc yet. I bought a SNES from a guy and he never sent it out. At the time there was nothing I could do except leave him negative feedback but he never used that account again.

I buy stuff on ebay all the time! It's hard to stay off of it. Only once did I get junk, that they sad was new but looked old. My sister sell stuff on ebay all the time, everytime she needs some extra cash. She hasn't had any problems.

Sold many things, bought/won a lot. I've been a member since 1997. Until just recently I've never had trouble selling anything. People have been good buyers. I have a great reputation. When I win an item, I always pay as soon as possible, which usually is right after the auction end. I've been treated by seller very well and have gotten close to a few repeat stores. If you are honest and questions first, make clear what shipping vosts are and what comes with an item, check their feedback, you should be fine.

Yes I have bought things on Ebay in the main it has been good though I have had a couple of very bad experiences Like not receiving the product for which I had paid

I've had mostly good experiences - bought quite a few things. Did once have someone who was not going to send me the item I paid for (was not expensive but it's the principle of the thing) til I kept sending messages. Also had someone once give me retaliatory feedback- she'd sent me the item quickly but it was shoddy and fell apart. I gave her neutral feedback and she retaliated by giving me neutral feedback for doing it to her. E-Bay no longer allows retaliatory feedback so the neutral rating was taken off a couple years later. All in all, about 99% of my purchases were just fine.

On the whole ok, I pay by paypal so any disputes are dealt with by them - for example non receipt by Royal Mail. You have to be careful though be selective in what you are buying and keep to a sensisble price. Nothing worse than paying over the odds for an item.
