ON an average of every month from 6 months of age to 3 years, when they finally yanked my tonsils out. When I was 9, I stood on a great splinter several inches long that pierced my foot. The subsequent tetanus shot almost killed me and I was in hospital for 2 weeks recovering from anaphyactic shock. Several times in the first year of marriage when I poisoned myself and my husband with my cooking. (yes, I admit it!) A terrible car accident in 1997. A miscarriage, then an infection post D&C Several severe panic attacks... Well, for the past 10 years, so far so good. :-)
