It depends on what you are interested in. In order to do a really good job with a science fair project interest is most important. My little sister just did a science fair project that won at her school and at district. It was on soap. She took like 7 bars of soap, cut about a 1 oz. piece off and timed it to see which brand of soap lasted the longest. She listed all of the main ingredients and made a prediction of which one she thinks would last the longest. My mom took pictures of her washing her hands and made graphs of the results and put it all on her little science fair board and it did very well! lol. I know a lot about it because I come home from school the weekend she was doing it, haha. But, you could try that. =)
