I was a girl scout when I was in elementary school. I went to girl scout camp every summer until I was 14 or 15. I still have a few friends from then, too.

I was a Sea Scout. We were a mixed/unisex group and we got to do loads of cool stuff in boats and life jackets. Of course, being a snotty teenager, I only went for the boys, but I discovered a lot more once I started to participate.

I was a Boy Scout. I didn't go very far. Technically, I am a Scouter now since I chair a local scout committee and serve on a district advisory committee.

I was a brownie when I was little, but never joined the girl scouts. I did however get to go to boy scout camp for a week when I was around 9 or 10. My dad was the clergy for the week, so my sister and I got to go with him. It was fun being the only two girls in a whole camp full of boys. Just wish I was old enough to fully enjoy the attention. lol At that age I was still such a tomboy that I had fun learning how to shoot a rifle, do leather work, etc. :)

Brownie, Junior, Cadette (Dropped due to Leader dropping me due to being aged out without a Senior troop to go to) Now as an adult I'm a lifetime member or as they say "Lifelong Scout" For those in Guiding this is similar to your Trefoil Guild members.

No, but in elementary school, I had signed up to be something called the Indian Scouts, back in the 60s. They refused because I was a girl. I guess that soured me on that sort of thing.

I was a brownie and then "flew up" to become a Girl Scout and promptly quit! Don't know what happened there!

Girl Scout through all the way through Senior scouts.. now they have Ambassadors. Anyway, I received the Gold Award. It was so cool! Now I'm a leader. The Girl Scouts are in great need of leaders if anyone has a few extra hours each month. (it's my favorite part of my week). It helps me remember there's more to life then rushing around town making it through work and lack of sleep.

I spent two years in the boy scouts. We hiked the 50 mile trail in Yosemite when I was 12. It was good exercise for me.
