I'm so old I didn't have kindergarten at my elementary school.
1st grade - Miss Urtle (needless to say she was the subject of many childish jokes)
2nd grade - Miss Ward (my favorite)
3rd grade - Mrs. Armendariz (she'd lock us in the coat room if we acted up; I spent quite a bit of time there)
4th grade - Mrs. Dobkins (we are still in touch)
5th grade - Mr. Wilson (he taught us how to sing the Pledge of Allegiance)
6th grade - Mr. Davis (a total bully)

We're both in the same town still. She's about 82 I'd guess, my dad's age. She's the president of the local chapter of the Writers Group, of which I am a member. Fabulous lady - the only elementary teacher I am aware of who had the guts to teach ethics to 9 and 10 year olds.
