Baby don't hurt me
Don't hurt me
No more
Can anybody love anyone so much that they will never fear
Never worry never be sad
The answer is they cannot love this much nobody can
This is why I dont mind you doubting
And maybe love is letting people be just what they want to be
The door always must be left unlocked
To love when circumstance may lead someone away from you
And not to spend the time just doubting
All you need is Love;)!!
Extreme happiness.
Comfortably being able to pass gas around him and knowing he still loves you the same.
...ask anybody,
well i think love is a mutual emotion that happens between two ppl who really respect, understands, support, and care for each other. and i'm sure there are alot of ppl who are in love with someone or who loves someone. as for myself i love alot of things. like God, family, and friends.
it would be that you would give your life for that person without a thought, that would be true love, :)
Love is when you experience something so deep - it makes you realise that you understand infinity and perfection - for they are standing right in front of you.
A four letter word.
Love is all about putting the other person first - always - regardless.
My own deffinition is someone you really care about and will help and do anything for them. and you know you love someone when you see that person, and your like WOW
love between myself and my partner is that we understand each other and if a time arises where we dont then this is the time we sit and talk it throught
Love is something that you cant get out of your mind. something that makes you get butterflies and want to be with that thing you love. It is something you can trust. something that makes you feel so good inside that nothing can hurt you. Something that keeps growing to new levels.
love means / beauty , passion , grace , mercy + suffering , struggling
Love is a native-spiritual high degree of affinity or liking for someone or something that you want to be close too.
I haven't a clue but it's definitely beyond 10 question marks, that I know!
Love is a feeling in your soul.
Sure.
The word love is beautiful but to fulfill the loving feeling now a days is rare and true emtional feeling are faded since past twenty years ,and people have changed to be more self-centred.
(Aaaah! It shows up at last! ;-)
dopamine and norepinephrine, thats what love is.
i am in love with my fiancee
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.
Love is a sports car. Its appealing, built for two, and everybody wants it. Then after years you get it and realize its just a bunch of crap.
An emotional bond to someone. Not to many people have it. Parents set the example in it if it don't start at home it will struggle to survive.
Love is what we perceive it to be. It's border less and an undefined enigma until you feel it's it's pull, then it's just a normal enigma. Weather it's a chemical reaction in ones brain or a spiritual event is inconsequential, enjoy it if you find it.
.
Yes, people love in many ways.
beauty, a cool breeze on a hot day, killer cake, sharing and being, feeling both great sorrow and great joy, pain, pleasure, everything and nothing, also everything in between, something worth fighting for, the pure essence of a benevolent GOD presence over and in all, a connection, eyes, a newborn baby, an elderly person dying, a hand to hold, a hug, a kiss, a song a dance, an embrace, knowing you need to say I am sorry, memories both happy and sad
The bluist blue and the darkest sky full of stars
Tears and laughter
I could go on forever.. that is why I could fly into everlasting eternity, complexity and understanding and misunderstanding, words and no words. I am simply and indescribibly in love with love.

From the New Testament, First Corinthians, Chapter 13:
"If I speak in the tongues[a] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
2) If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3) If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,[b] but have not love, I gain nothing.
4) Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5) It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6) Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7) It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8) Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
9) For we know in part and we prophesy in part,
10) but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.
11) When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.
12) Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13) And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."
This is one of the most beautiful passages in Bible, in my opinion.
The Definition of Love
© By Danielle M. Perry
I pray for you more than I pray for myself
I pray to God for you good health
When I'm away from you for more than a hour
I miss you too much
The glare in your eyes
The stride in your walk
Even the way your lips move when you talk
You call me your wifey
You say you just want to ice me
Diamonds are a girls best friend
Since when?
Materialistic things mean nothing to me
Especially with a man like you
How could that be
I said I'd never fall in love
Promised myself I couldn't do it again
But here I am with you
On a level I never thought would be
Never considered I would love you
Never dreamed you'd be in love with me
But here we are
Look how happy we can be
Things aren't easy
We do have our days
But I know we couldn't never go our seperate ways
Couldn't go a day without your touch or feel
And that's how I know this love thing is real
So when I ask youu what's the definition of love
You simply answer it's the definition of us
http://www.poetryamerica.com/read_poems.asp?id=335454
Something that can cause you great joy but also pain.
Perhaps love is like a resting place, a shelter from the storm
It exists to give you comfort, it is there to keep you warm
And in those times of trouble when you are most alone
The memory of love will bring you home
Perhaps love is like a window, perhaps an open door
It invites you to come closer, it wants to show you more
And even if you lose yourself and don't know what to do
The memory of love will see you through
Love to some is like a cloud, to some as strong as steel
For some a way of living, for some a way to feel
And some say love is holding on and some say letting go
And some say love is everything, and some say they don't know
Perhaps love is like the ocean, full of conflict, full of pain
Like a fire when it's cold outside, thunder when it rains
Some say love is holding on and some say letting go
Some say love is everything and some say they don't know
Perhaps love is like the ocean, full of conflict, full of change
Like a fire when it's cold outside, thunder when it rains
the security of knowing someone is making an effort to see that you are comfortable, secure, and being considerate of your feeings.
getting tucked in at night is the ultimate sign of love.
Love is what you have been through together.
let's see... love is a noun. it's a thing, an idea. it is spelled with four letters and symbolized with heart(s). it's a feeling someone gets, which means it's really just a electro-chemical reaction within the human body.
To me, love is a combination of other feelings and shared traits that are unique to you and that person's relationship. (Whether they are friend, lover, or family.) Things that come to mind are faith, loyalty, acceptance, trust, and compassion.
It's not as clear-cut and "out there" as it looks, too.
You can love someone for as long as you've known them, thinking that you hated them all along, but when that person is in jeopardy, you realize you love them. Or you could feel as if you couldn't be in the same room with them for 5 minutes, but still know you love them. (Sometimes, family is like this... God, I can't stand so many members of my family, but I still love them.)
And for the people you love in the "other" way (boyfriend, girlfriend, whatev.), it's the above, in addition to an inexplicable feeling that kind of hovers over you, or is ehm... awakened, I guess, inside of you. It's weird.
Love is giving of your time and money for people you don't know who may not even deserve it. Love is giving those that deserve death another chance at life. Love is believing that strangers and people you will never meet deserve the same respect they you would give your own family members. Love is doing what it takes to ensure everyone has what they need to live without thought to what you have to give up for them to have it. Love is action. Love is doing. Love is a verb.
In my personal experience, love means:
Valuing their priorities and wellbeing above your own, and wanting them to be happy, with or without you.
Being happy and content above all else simply to be near them and know that they're safe and happy.
To see them as beautiful and to always recognize the value and beauty in them before considering the
not-so-beautiful aspects...
There's a lot more to it even than that, but for the msot part it's beyond the capacity of any words to express.

True love is what you feel for you child, not sure yet about love for a partner, they seem to come and go but children are yours and yours forever.
Love is the feeling that you cant live without that person beside you. The fear that that person could leave you or die. That is what true love is. Thats why the quote fear is the heart of love exsists. If you dont love someone you wont care what happens to them.
Well, I've never really thought about it. I would say that love is just another mystery. It binds together and breaks apart. It can be important or not important at all. In truth, the definition of love would depend on what kind of love and in what kind of situation. Basically though, I think love is like giving your feelings through your heart to someone/something. It's like a spiritual gift of the mind that no one can actually see, yet almost everyone can feel its presence. The type and amount of love depends.
Unconditional!!
If the love is true, it can't be explained.

God
Love?
One that I am still pondering: "Love is that which recognizes itself." I said this to someone once and without missing a beat he said, "NO-IT-IS-N'T." Hah! Well that was lovely! I might say, according to my level at this moment, is that it is that which motivates you to seek the answer; or that which is seeking you. If you have any clues, I'd like to hear your ideas. Ah! Just thought of another. For the physical body gravity is what makes life here possible; love has led to the creation of life. For the essence of man/womankind),gravity is love. From all the comments here that express feeling more present, more here, more awake--even feeling pangs of love, this is love.
