  • To increase muscle size and make belly fat disappear, try cutting the bad carbs like pasta, bread, sugar, etc. and replacing them with whole grain foods. Keep in mind that wheat bread is not whole grain. Whole grains are clearly printed on the packaging. Eat old-fashioned oats or oatmeal which is high in fiber and filling. Add protein to your diet. You should be eating 1g/1-lb of body weight. Good fats are great, so use Olive Oil instead of butter or margarine. Use heavier weights with fewer reps and do crunches. Belly fat can only be decreased with diet AND exercise. Diet is the most important.
