  • There are a lot of problems with the US education system. But these days, with all the money going to fight wars, it's been put on the back burner for now
  • I think that many westernised nations have the same problem. We are still using the educational parameters of centuries past to teach the children of tomorrow.Small wonder it doesn't work.
  • I do think it needs reforming but as far as being out of the top ten goes I think that stat is a little skewed. We only have 300 million people here. You cannot compare that to a nation with a a much larger population like Japan or China.
  • In China and elsewhere there is a larger population than in the U.S. But it also goes to say that because they have a larger population, it would be more difficult for them to have a higher education system. Because we have less in population should mean that it would be easier for us to teach more advanced things. In places like France, you would be doing French, English, and another foreign language. The education system in the U.S. should be reformed greatly because the future of America is being wasted by learning percents in 8th Grade.
