I'd lik eto think that we go "Everywhere" that we spread out into everything and so find or go back to God who is in everything...does that make sense?

If death and decomposition is allowed to take it's natural course, then our energy passes on into the grass and oher vegetation surrounding our gravesite. But considering that many people are now buried in thick walled boxes, most of our potential organic energy after we're dead is preventing from becoming anything, and rots in the ground right along with us.

The same thing that happens to the energy within a mushroom or blade of grass or aphid or slug. The implicit suggestion that something metaphysical occurs is unwarranted, wishful thinking.

Worm food, or kindling. If you're really unlucky, it might become alligator poop or something.

It goes from Potential Energy to kinetic energy while being lowered into the grave, followed by chemical energy as we decompose. If cremated it goes straight to chemical energy and heat.

A combined cognitive pattern of energy based upon our spiritual power and the force that we put into our lives. I cannot posit no further but it really does matter how hard we try to be our best while we are alive becasue that very well may carry over into what we call the afterlife. You are the sum of your thoughts actions and efforts. The more you do, the more you will remain. This is just my mad ramblings however so only take it at face value.
