Because watching porn has little to nothing to do with whether you are happily married or not. It is not a statement about the marriage, the sex in the marriage, the happiness of the partner or the satisfaction of the partner.

Because they are being selfish, maybe aren't getting enough intimacy, and haven't learned yet the "actors" in the films are third parties they are bringing into the relationship. They aren't wanting sex with their wives at that point and that is what makes it (and going to strip clubs) wrong. But that is from a Christian perspective. Love and lust are two completely different things. Men and women have been given a sex drive that is second only to the desire for food in my opinion. To try and have your partner satisfy it each and every time would be too much.

Men are visual beings and watching porn allows the man to have an orgasm without having to provide pleasure for his wife first and there is no emotional attachment involved. Just a quick release. It does not mean he doesn't love you. However, there is a danger that it might lead to something else, ie an affair. It can put thoughts in a man's head, such as multiple parters, that could lead him outside the marriage, This is the danger involved with your husband watching porn. If your marriage is strong, no problem.

Because masterbation isn't only about just "getting off". It's something that most every human does, and should do IMO. It's about having one's own sensuality, and isn't just some dirty thing that happens in dark corners in desperation. As far as porn is concerned, many women don't like it. And when they want to do something their wives don't like they sneak around to do it. I can't help you answer your question. Why a man feels the need to occasionally screw himself instead of a woman [or even better...HIS woman] is beyond me. All I can tell you is what Ive learned so far in my own marriage. 1. Men and women are different. We aren't the same. We never will be. If a woman is bored, she'll call up a friend, or bake cookies, or clean his clothes. If a man gets bored, he'll play with himself. Lesson: Laugh about it[or even better-AT HIM]. When I found out my husband occasionally looked up dirties, I was furious. I was so mad I wouldnt talk to him, acknowledge his exsistence or let him touch me. What I DID know was that he would have been hopping mad if he knew I was looking up monster man-parts while he was gone. So thats what I did. Well, do. It really doesnt do anything for me, but I get a sort of satisfaction out of knowing how mad he'd be if he knew I was doing it, and how stupid he is because I can cover it up and he can't. LoL Besides...If I get mad and refuse to sleep with him - Im only hurting myself. Despite his retardedness, Im a human and I need sex. Hahaha! Lesson: Use-I MEAN LOVE- him anyways.

I am the wife. I have caught my husband looking at porn while I was sleeping in the bed right next to his computer. My past history with porn and my ex husband should tell him that I do not like it in my presense. My ex husband watched porn, made porn with other women, and snuck porn whenever he could. he even brough home friends with home made porn videos for me to watch thinking Id then have sex with his friends too. Im a firm believer in, If a man loves you, he will talk to you about what he wants. He will treat you as he would like to be treated. He will touch you as you should be touched. I cant seem to get my husband to understand this. he insists that 83% of women watch porn! I wanna know what percentage of that is Married women who dont watch it along with their partners. I have spoken to many women. The single ones watch porn, the married ones dont, and frown on the fact their husbands do it behind their backs. There is nothing to make a married woman feel low self esteem, than to walk in on her husband wacking off to porn.
