I don't get it either. Why choose a two deminsonal picture of some chick that's selling her self to anyone and everyone when you can have a live one that is all for you and only you? Not to mention the fact that it ruins your relationship with the real deal because you're so preoccupied with the pictures you ignore the real girl. I loved my realtionship with my fiancee because I didn't have to compete with porn for his attention. Our sex life was better and we had much better communication both in and out of the bedroom then I ever had with guys I dated who looked at porn. I found them to be immature, insecure, more likely to cheat and unlike Jay they had no clue how to be in a relationship or any respect for women.

I worked at a place that sells it, I can tell you that many of the regulars ''the obsessed types'' were very unlikely people to have any chance at getting the real thing.

Porn and imagination are in the same category, although the imagination can be far more personalized and sexy. Reality on the other hand, doesn't measure up to those who require MORE. Reality often isn't stimulating enough.

why read romance novels..why watch a romantic movie? Why watch a sitcom on TV..why read any book? or watch any movie? or watch any TV show? Why day dream? Why dream? Porn is the same thing...a fantasy..an escape..nothing to do with either *getting* or *not getting* the real deal. This country is way to hung up on sex being *bad* unless it follows ABC rules and regulations..different people have different sexual comfort zones and different things that are erotic/enjoyable to them..and unless they include harming someone else, then there is nothing inherently *wrong* with them..(note harm not hurt..because some people are wired to enjoy S/M, etc)

i think its ok to do it if you are single but when u are in a relationship u shud disclose u do it so the other person can make the decision about whether they wanna live with that or not. i found out my boyfriend looks at it and I hate it. but, would he stop for me? i doubt it. its not fair on me tho. had i known this at the beginning of the relationship i probably woud've broken up with him.

Why do people watch movies about spies or gunfights or cowboys or ninjas or car racing or astronauts or murder mysteries or any other movie topic rather than going out and living their lives that way? Because a movie is escapism- it's entertainment. It's not about reality or an alternative to reality.

And believe it or not most men are horny all the time and when thier partner is not in the mood, they need a means to "release" themselves. My advice is to let him enjoy this "obsession". Well i have heard of some people having the real deal and still watching porn on a daily basis. So if even the real deal is not enough, then there is no real obsession just a "usedtoness" to having porn around.

Some people can't get laid. Some people DO get laid, but believe that they aren't getting a satisfying enough experience unless they can also fantasize about some contrived scenario. Some people have sexual fixations and they feel entitled to seeing these acted out.

I think that it stems from getting something that they cant have or what the woman will not perform, however i do not think that men realize that it is not attractive to woman to know that while your away your boyfriend or husband is looking at porn or in my opinion other woman doing things that should not be displayed over the internet it is really sad that woman have allowed this to happen this is why woman are not respected what so ever i mean geeze just take off your clothes duh, I have been with the same guy for 10 years and have 3 children when i was perfect yet i didnt really care if he looked at pictures in playboy or something but now it has progressed into hardcore nasty shit that i don not feel comfortable doing and when i tell him what i think he just says im curious thats why i look, ok but why do you look everyday then, and i dont think he realizes it just pushes you away and makes you not want to have sex cause your so damn self concious of yourself being compared to all these dirty wild women.

Because most women usually stop giving it up when the relationship gets serious or they get married. So when that happens, guys have to find a way to get some sort of release, and that is where porn comes in. Women make guys work too hard for sex, and we get sick of it. So sometimes we turn to the porn stars. What's funny to me is the same women who will tell their man to get off of them when he goes to get some at night are the same women who get upset when they see him watching porn! We can't win!
