I take everything into consideration when choosing a doctor. They have to pass MY tests first.

Ask his current patients and former patients about his reputation, his number of malpractice lawsuits, his medical educational background, his personality, his sincere concern for his patients medical problems, and his location. Before you purchase a new automobile, you do your homework for make, model, cost, and miles per gallon. Do the same with a future doctor. I had a knee surgeon that operated on my left knee. it never healed, even after draining the water off 12 times. i asked for a 2nd opinion and the surgery was performed by a professional surgeon. no problems. some doctors should not be in the medical profession, at all. check their references. Your body will thank you for it.
