I think an alley cat,for they get to prowl at night.When I was a child there was a cartoon called "Top cat" about an alley cat and his friends.They had the greatest adventures.

I'd have to say an alley cat. Tigers, Leopards, and Panthers are in too much danger of being hunted or caprured and caged, and I wouldn't want to be a house cat. I don't think I could handle getting my tail pulled and being smuthered by little kids! Lol
