  • Well, my city has a few "modern" art sculptures which I don't particular like, but they are by famous artists, so they attract quite a few people I suppose. One fountain and reflecting pool only and not very impressive to me. I wish we had more fountains, as I like them very much. There is also a large food court center that has many nationalities of food outside in good weather that many locals and visitors like. That's about it.
  • Not in any way. Even though the city population is nearly 90,000, the actual downtown "drag" is .......well....it's just that--- a drag. There aren't any other areas of our city I would consider more important.
  • We have many fountains (which are currently mostly switched off due to drought & water restrictions) in Melbourne. We also have a lot of outdoor art (in terms of sculpture), they are on the streets in many parts of the central city... here is a guide... http://tinyurl.com/34gp7l
  • We have, lets see: -The empire state building. -Liberty Tower in final construction -Statues dedicated to fashion, like this huge button with a metal needle right through it. -42nd street. Full of activity and shopping. That's about it, a little more, but no fountains that I can think of.
  • Yes our downtown area is full of 14th century university buildings and the river and backs . A copy of the bridge of Sighs in venice , so much for visitors
