  • I dont know the technicalities but with logic you can say that not only did the left fielder run into the center fielder but the center fielder also ran into the left fielder. on top of that he dropped the ball so i'd say the error is his.

  • It cannot be ruled a hit since the batter should have been retired on the play and the misplay allowed the batter-runner to advance. Charge the error to the player responsible for the misplay. In this case charge the error to the left fielder. 10.12 Errors Rule 10.12(a)(1) Comment: The official scorer shall charge an error to a fielder who causes another fielder to misplay a ball—for example, by knocking the ball out of the other fielder’s glove. On such a play, when the official scorer charges an error to the interfering fielder, the official scorer shall not charge an error to the fielder with whom the other fielder interfered.
