  • It's not possible to identify a pill that has no imprints or markings without expensive lab testing. All US prescription and over-the-counter medications are required by law to have unique identifiers. Many vitamins, supplements and foreign drugs don't have imprints, so it's possible the pill you have might be one of these or an illegal substance.
  • If you're wondering if it's safe to take (which I hope you aren't wondering about), then, no, it's not safe unless you know what it is, how old it is, and what it's used for. Definitely throw it away. :)
  • a smoth pill doesn't make sence. really, we will be able to answer the question once you go back to the bottle you found the pill in and look at the label. type in the letters on the label - important - match them up exactly in order to get the spelling right - and we will all write back and tell you what it is for.
  • i was given a pill with a description the same as this being told it was going to help me sleep. does the pill you have a bitter taste? mine did not so i am to beleive it is either a vitamin or a placebo..
  • This is Melatonin from Walmart. It's to help you sleep. It is found in the vitamin and medicine section.
  • I didn't downrate you, but... ...I HATE pill questions.
  • Wow. Some of you are so rude and apparently think you are so smart and amazing. It is a valid question. Not stupid at all. I have the same pill round, white, blank on one side with a white line on the other. I have been trying to find out what it is for a couple days. From everything I have read it could be calcium vitamin but also a generic form of Zanax. (This is personally what I am hoping for) :) Anyway, people stop being so snobby, know it all, and rude. If someone makes a typing error you don't really need to point it out to them. That is just pointless and makes your look mean. Do you really care that much?
