    If you mean getting hits in consecutive at-bats, this has already been asked here - http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/125312 My research showed that the record is held at 12 by Walt Dropo (1952) and Pinky Higgins (1938). If you mean simply what is the record for most consecutive games with a hit, which is the usual sort of hitting streak, then the famous answer is Joe DiMaggio at 56 games in 1941.
