I would think he's still angry and trying to blow off steam and/or trying to say something he thinks will hurt you. He's probably not the sharpest knife in the drawer. I'd blow it off. When they're angry, people say things they don't mean all the time.

I would think I need a new boyfriend. I suspect this isn't the first insulting comment you have heard from him. If it is, then he's just blowing off steam and it's out of character. I would tell him in either circumstance that it wasn't appreciated. Since I don't know anything about this relationship, I don't know what else I could add.

I would think about him only long enough to dump him, and then I would completely forget he ever existed and find someone else. Whether it was out of anger or not, he has no right to make any comment about women that way, or anyone for that matter. Plus, "women are dumb but think they're really smart."? That's not even a good insult. You deserve better. Go find better.

I'm 23yrs old & wouldn't go 2luk for another man any more. i'm not trng to plz u or anyhow, but that's how i got it. i mean if i had expressed myself the way i felt, why shuld i turn out to be dumb instead of listening to what's killing me when w'r 2gether. with reference to what the other sister had said recently: 'the reason i seem to remember the bad times when with you, it is becoz they had an intense emotional impact on me than the gr8 times, which carried no 'trauma' with them'.this exactly tells the majorpoint of our argument, ending by saying he'l try to think about it as the night goes by.- i couldn't argue more than that bcoz i already took a decision that no more will i sing the same song bcoz he didn't take me serious @all, i was just bluffing as i was telingl him. For me, the reply would go like this: Dear (adjective) (noun), While it was indeed a dumb move on my part to consider the likes of you as a boyfriend, I would like to inform you that I am smart enough to now consider you as my EX boyfriend, and that this "show" is moving on to play to bigger, better, and more intelligent audiences. Thank you for your patronage.

its a very rude e-mail but considering you said you had a fight with him just before he probably said it in anger and i honestly doubt he was reffering to all women. that was probably his way of saying you are stupid. i've witnessed a lot of arguments in relationships and normally if the guy goes so far to call the girl stupid its normally because she is. thats my 2 cents. may all you feminists have a field day with it. just remember i dont believe in discrimination based on stereotypes. i believe in discrimination based on experience. people act stupid. when they are told about it especially women, rather than take that idea into consideration they just assume they know everything and keep arguing. the man will proceed to say shes stupid because he has given every logical argument he can think of and she hasnt listened to a one. thats probably yours and his problems both. you just need to listen to someone other than yourself and your close friends who will only agree with you because they are the same sex. like it or not men and women are different.

I'd say he took a very normal female joke, changed the gender roles, and sent it to me. Read it the other way around. Men are really dumb but think they're really smart. Let them continue to think that way and just enjoy the show. It's a very old joke, annoying, sexist either way it bites, and generally unoriginal. Don't quit the day job.

Well, if I were a girl/woman in that situation, I'd think he just sealed his fate as a single person. And if I were the brother/father of the girl he said that to, I'd want to take a baseball bat to his elbows and knees. (I wouldn't, but I'd WANT to.) ;-)

I would think he was kinda funny. Cause really I have heard plenty of women say the exact same thing about men. So, I find it amusing to think of him sitting there thinking you are dumb and you sitting there thinking the same about him. We all, men and women, secretly think we are the smarter sex. I would call him on his arguing skills...and establish the rules of fair fighting..but beyond that I wouldn't sweat it.

I'd think he sounds as if he is trying to hold onto his imagined superiority as a male because he finds females a threat. If he is a teenager, he is probably immature, insecure and inexperienced. If he's older, then continue at your own mental peril!
