At what point does CAUTION become COWARDICE? Give examples.

    when peopel do not step in when a woman or child is abused.
    people are cautious, stay out of it. it's cowardice.
    I remember one night hearing a woman scream. I called 911. the scream was really desperate.
    I started searching where it came from. the police came and found the woman.
    next day I asked neighbors if they had not heard it. they said yes, each said yes, but they " didn't want to get involved".
    that is caution and has becaume cowardice.

    COWARDICE...is when someone chooses NOT to do something--for fear of NON physical and/or harmful consequences.
    Example: Fear of giving a speech in front of a crowd--due to the possibility of being ridiculed!

    CAUTION...is using basic "common sense"--to avoid physical and/or harmful consequences.
    Example: Fear of cutting in front of OPRAH--at an all-you-can-eat buffet!!!
