Nope, just a trademark and a picture, just like Aunt Jemima flour.
Didn't famous Amos use his pics to sell his products?
All the bleeding hearts need to get a grip!
San Diego Padres.... the atheists should be up in arms about that.
Cleveland Indians, Washington Redskins, N.J. Devils, Atlanta Braves, UCLA Trojans ( going to tell me they are pushing condums in a disceet agenda?)
New England Patriots will crush anyone with an opposing view of American values ( see how twisted this can get?)
N.Y. or San Fransico Giants hate small people?
The biggest offense is that the squeeky wheel gets the most oil. Why do 10% of the people get the attention of government when 90% have no problem with just trying to get by.
When you put it in prospective why haven't old men sued over a product called gummy bears?
Betty Crocker and Little Debbie are laughing with all the money they take to the bank!

    ***annoyed groan***

Those who have African heritage, especially those in the USA, are overly touchy about such things.

Don't get them started again. While you're at it.....why not ask about the Cream of Wheat man? You might as well add all the fuel to the fire that you can.

Wasn't the Good Humor man of African heritage as well?

Aunt Jemimah, Uncle Ben, and the Cream of Wheat man are classic advertising icons. Leave them alone!

I find it offensive that you seem to think a black man shouldn't represent a brand. Blacks are regular people. Own businesses. Pose for trade mark photos. Models. Singers and actors. Why should it be offensive? It isn't Uncle Sams rice. Aunt Jemima. She offend you too? I love the rice, and the pancakes. For heavens sake, its just a brand name. give it a rest.

    Actually, I am slightly offended.
Due to how this African American was used, for he is not the, "Uncle Ben".

I know, I know, propaganda, right??

He's no more offensive than the Quaker Oats gentleman; I notice Aunt Jemima has slimmed a little over the past few years but her smile is just as warm. I am greatly relieved we finally seem to be rid of those Campbell Twins! Now, if someone would shoot that cockney lizard!
