    Chalk marks can be swept away using a special brush made for the felt. Sometimes a slightly damp cloth can help remove the deeper and more extreme chalk marks, however, the surface must be patted dry with a towel or some other aborbant cloth and the brushed in order to maintain the consistency of the surface.
