Before Satan rebelled against God he was chief of all angels. The second in command, so to speak. He was also the master of music, in essence, the worship leader of heaven. Satan can not bestow any gifts on humans. Demons can work through humans, but once the demons have ceased interacting the power is gone. Levitation, for example, is not anything a human can attain. It is an outside force, perhaps from another dimension, that this originates from. The demons (and in some cases, I suppose, Satan himself) are intervening in the physical world to created what appears to be supernatural phenomenon. This is the same in channelling, contacting spirits and/or ghosts. The demons (also known as familiar spirits) are outside of this physical tangible world. They can observe everything that goes on. Thus, when people are in a psychic state, a trance, or deep meditation, they are opening up their minds to these familiar spirits, who can communicate to them anything they wish. For example when someone is supposed to have contacted a deceased loved one, and this is proved to them by the "spirit" communicating something that only the loved one could have known, this very well could just be a familiar spirit who observed the life of the deceased loved one. I guess my main point is, that a gift is something you possess. In the case of levitation, channelling, etc. it is the opposite. It is posessing you. Without Satan there would be no God. You can not have a make believe GOD without a make believe SATAN. You can not have good art without bad art. You can not have good runnig cars without having bad running cars. You can not have educated people without having uneducated people. Let me put it another way. For a moment let assume there everyone believed in God. "Everyone" then we would not have any concept of people who would not believe in God, there would not even be a word to describe thoes who do not believe. Its all about language and the use of how and the way language works.
