Does it bother you when you can hear the sound of your own heartbeat? Why or why not?

    It freaks me out sometimes, but it's better than not hearing a heartbeat at all. I'd hate to wake up dead.

    If my heart beats, and I can hear it, it means Im alive and conscious. No it doesn't bother me.

    I would have to say yes, but only in one instance. There were times when I literally could not sleep due to noise outside of my window (this doesn't happen often) and I decided to use cotton to place inside of my ears to block the sound. The funny thing is, after I place the cotton in my ear, I could hear my heart beating. I think it is a bit odd to hear your heart beating, as you are trying to sleep. I think more so it is strange because I am not used to hearing my own heart beat.

    Never. I love to feel my heartbeat. Though I can't remember ever having heard it, at least not so loud that it would bother me.

    Don't ever hear the sound of my own heartbeat. Wasn't actually aware anyone could.
