  • For one, I hope you were there when this order was signed. Secondly you were to provide the court with all of your current information at the time so most likely depending on your case and if all parties agreed and signed. It is then sent to the judge and signed and becomes a final order of the court. Each party to the suit will be sent a copy within 3-10 days depending on what state you reside.
  • The documents you are describing are part of your court file. You will need to contact the court that the child support papers were filed in. In Alabama, that would be the Circuit Clerk's Office in the county that the papers were filed in. It will probably cost you a few bucks for the copies. Ask for certified copies, even if it costs you a little more. And keep your copy in a safe place. You will no doubt need it in the future.
