As of the census of 2000, there were 232 people, 107 households, and 63 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 60.1/km sq (155.7/mi sq). There were 122 housing units at an average density of 31.6/km sq (81.9/mi sq). The racial makeup of the CDP was 89.66% White, 1.72% African American, 0.43% Native American, 1.72% from Race (United States Census)other races, and 6.47% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.74% of the population.
There were 107 households out of which 20.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 45.8% were Marriagemarried couples living together, 11.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 40.2% were non-families. 35.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.17 and the average family size was 2.83.
In the CDP the population was spread out with 22.8% under the age of 18, 3.0% from 18 to 24, 22.8% from 25 to 44, 28.9% from 45 to 64, and 22.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 46 years. For every 100 females there were 90.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 105.7 males.
The median income for a household in the CDP was $40,430, and the median income for a family was $58,125. Males had a median income of $35,924 versus $28,594 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $22,282. None of the families and 9.2% of the population were living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 19.6% of those over 64.
