lol That's my nickname! Penny "locked out" 42! :P (So yes. I certainly have!)
-
Yes. Who hasn't? :)
-
Yep, and I came in through the dog door!

I have locked my keys inside of the car one too many times. That is why I carry a key to my car door in my wallet. Since I don't go anywhere without my wallet and my wallet is always in my pocket when I get out of the car, I always have a way to get into my car if I lock my keys in it.
-
More times than I care to remember.

Once I put my keys to truck and house on the seat of my truck, because I was going back to the truck for groceries once I checked the mail. BUT I locked the car door manually out of habit. So I could not get into the house to get the extra key LOL.I used my neighbor's phone to call my b/f who is a mechanic so he came with a tool (NOT THAT ONE) and opened door.
-
Yes I did and the engine was running. Thank goodness my husband was home with an extra set of keys.
-
I have a few times... Luckily I was in the driver seat though, and could easily reach them! . On a serious note though, I make a habit of putting the keys in my pocket before closing the door and so far I havn't locked them in.
-
Yes. I was in it at the time.
-
I locked my keys in the car 3 times in two weeks. I have a hidden key on the car so that won't happen now.
-
LOL...OMG ....nope ....:-) !

Omg yes! I used to own a minivan - I locked my keys in it too may times. I even locked the spare in it. I finally figured out a trick to getting in the back hatch without the key (I wonder how many times people thought I was breaking into it!!!) I haven't locked them inside a vehicle in a long time tho(years even). It might have had something to do with being a young busy momma (I was a such a twit back them haha)

I don'd have a car, but if I had one I am sure I wouldn't.

I have locked my keys in the car a few times. once i slithered my arm thru the crack in the window. my arm hurt for weeks afterwards. now i keep a car door key on a lanyard around my neck. it works for me and has saved me many times.
-
One time. Lucky thing it was the summer and I left the windows open enough so that I could reach my arm in to unlock the door.
-
A few times... On two occasions, I locked them in the car twice in the same day! Another time, a friend of mine locked my keys in the car when it was running, when we had just swum (at night) in minimal attire. I will never forget THAT night...

Yes, but I don't blame myself. I blame idiotic and shortsighted American auto engineering. Let me explain: Toyotas are designed so that if the key is in the ignition, you cannot lock the doors if the driver's side door is still open, specifically to prevent locking your keys in the car. In 1995, American cars. (specifically Dodge Caravans) did not have this intuitive feature. I was leaving work, and had already started the engine in my mom's Caravan. A friend asked me a question, so I got out of the car to talk to her. Apparently, I had accidentally hit the door lock button, and shut the driver's side door. The keys were locked in with the engine running. I had to ask my friend to drive me 30 minutes back home, get the extra set of keys from my mom, and drive all the way back to unlock the car. American cars suck. Moral of the story.

Yes on several occasions. :)
