Assuming you typed everything correctly, make sure you check the caps. Yahoo is case sensitive.
Well, I'm assuming that if you're getting an "Invalid ID/Password" message, then you can't access your account. Maybe you should check to make sure everything is typed correctly, although I'm sure you've probably already done that. If it is, then you might want to change your password. There should be some option where if you've forgotten your password, you can change it without signing in. That would at least help you regain access to your account. :)
Yesterday,
I wanted to create some multiple Yahoo Answer accounts.
------
I created 6 e-mail addresses.
------
I got most to create Yahoo Answer accounts.
------
I used 2 of them to vote
(and no I wasn't gaming for points)
------
Today when I tried to access them, I got the incorrect password note.
------
I've sent an email to customer care.
------
I'm going to see if I can use hotmail.

Have you read Yahoo's updated privacy policy? There's some mumbo

and more.
