Help answer this question below.

Have you learned CPR and feel confident that you could save a life? Do you agree that it is something we should all learn in grade school?

Wouldn't it be great if everyone was trained in CPR and first aid early in their education? Even if each one of us only ever saved ONE life, wouldn't it be worth learning?

    I have been certified and recertified, but now my certification is expired. They keep changing the standards, which is confusing.

    I like you suggestion about teaching it in grade school. I think it should be taught consistently through our schooling. Basic first aid and CPR should be standard knowledge. Just a little knowledge could go a long way.

    Learned cpr but was always afraid I'd have to use it, do it wrong, and hurt/kill someone.

    Why not!? I think it's a great idea. How would you feel if you were home alone with your kid and you started having a heart attack and your kid didn't know what to do? Kids are a lot smarter then we give them credit for sometimes. I think in Middle School they should teach first aid... that is a great idea!!!

    I learned it when I was about 30. You only remain certified for one year. (or was it three?) I would hate to hold someone's life in my hands today, nearly 30 years later. Had I learned in grade school, I seriously doubt I'd remember any part of it by now.
    Best wait and let people take voluntary classes once they're INTERESTED.
