You can submit it and let the nice AB staff people recategorize it for you. The best thing to do is use the search feature if you are unsure. For example, you have a question about. . .hmmm . . .the Ford Pinto. Search Ford Pinto and you will see that there is a Ford section to place questions about that specific brand and/or car model in. You could also try typing in your question to see if it turns up any hits and see what category those questions are in. At least give it a shot before just sticking your question any old place and frustrating the nice folks at AB :) Hope this helps.

Try to put in some of the key words in your question, if they dont show anything dont worry someone will flag it and put it in the right category.

If you believe you know the subject, when you are on the page with the categories listed, there's an option to type in a category. Use your subject. If it's possibly in a broader category (say you are asking about a certain type of food, and it's not specifically listed as a category), try the type of food it is (meat, vegetable, fruit, etc.). If THAT doesn't work, try the next up - Food. I KNOW you'll find one there!) ;-) And, if you still can't figure out a category for it, it would BEST go into Outside the Bag. Someone will flag it as a wrong category, and move it for you. BUT, there are over 3500 categories on AB (read it in a story quoting Joel, creator of AB)... SURELY you can find something that's at least close! LOL (And if another is more appropriate, someone will move it.)
