I've often wondered that myself. I think it's probably the mystique of it all. The lingerie covers up the most interesting bits, but hugs the body so that the shape of those bits are very clearly defined.

So it's like a bit of a tease. You're almost at the jackpot - there's just that liiiiiitle bit of clothing in the way.

- Yeah, I love the way lingerie hugs my wife's beautiful curves. And it hugs and hides the curves that are the most sexually enticing, even though seeing her yellow-brown skin in the perfect color of lingerie enhances her entire bod, from face to feet. I want to see more of her, but she's not going to show it to me yet, though she's going to give me a very tantalizing visual taste--very arousing.

Well, some of these other answers have stated a lot of reasons lingerie is so appealing. I have two reasons sort of tied together: 1) it enhances a woman's feminine physical features, 2) it emphasizes her femininity. There are a lot of things I love about seeing my wife in lingerie, but the biggest one is that it highlights her beautiful female form and emphasizes both visible and invisible aspects of her femininity. And the more feminine she looks and acts, the more aroused by her and sexually attracted to her I am. She's a woman unafraid to be feminine and to show her femininity, and I love it.

There are many good answers to the question but part of it is while a woman looks great naked, she often looks even better with the proper lingerie. Some men prefer their wives and girlfriends to be nude while others prefer her in a bit of skimpy clothing- bra and panties. The appeal is the naughty, provocative look of sexy lingerie. If this, or some variation of this were not the case there would be no need or demand for lingerie. Just like a woman with no make up is attractive, a woman with make up can be absolutely ravishing.

It hides all of the private parts and creates the fantasy of what they look like in your headthe fantasy always is an impossible one to achieve so that is why lingerie is so seductive because it creates "your" illusion" of perfection q:)

why why why????????? that is looks veeeeeery gooood and when put it on,body looks soo nice.some are so nice design,so nice to fix,so nice to seduce!?...and only female can enjoy to put them....and design for....and feeling very gorgeous too...i do not interest with outerfits,almost time i spend jeans with plane t shirt.but i like to spend money for item which touch my skin direct.
