what would you think if your bf tells you that you look like a 12 yrs old with your bikini?

he said that and laughed and said "u should have wear another color , why did u choose green and sky blue ,really you seem like a young girl", then i told him i fell offended and he said i was a joke ...but then i was sad all day for his comment ...and finally he aplologysed :(

Be thrilled? I'm only 26 and it already feels like my life is passing me by. You're only young once so live it up.

But that isn't the answer you are looking for. All I can tell you is that people relate with someone they have something in common with. Music, television, food, whatever, just find that common ground.

Just remember, tomorrow is always sooner than you think.

Next time your bf makes a rude comment about your youthful attire, just say, "Thanks, I'm proud to look young for my age." If he continues to belittle you, don't change your clothes; change your boyfriend. Making unsolicited negative comments about a girlfriend's clothing choices is usually the sign of a controlling boyfriend.

He might've not meant that you're flat or something. He could've just meant that the style and coloring of the bikini was childish but he probably found it cute :) Just let it go, at least this first time.

"Young girl"? What a lovely compliment that would be for me. There is absolutely nothing I would find offensive about being called a young girl. I'm an old lady you see so those are words I won't be hearing from anyone anytime soon. Words have different meanings to different people and you see how I would take them versus how you took them.
