  • No, there is no limit to the number of DVDs or games that console will play. If it isn't playing both, there is something wrong with it.
  • The system , ideally is designed, to operate both. But that is under factory conditions. Just like any "hybrid" machine. over time, and repetitive usage, the system will become somewhat perfered to a certain type of usage. Not saying that it cant do both. But it will usually have less trouble with one or the other. Ive found mine will not run old, very used games, IE: rental games. without having to constantly view the disk, and keep forcing the machine to load it. They system will never quit playing games. or dvd's. Check the disk for errors, check the lense for dust, ect. Ya have options. Check em out.
  • Of course not. The PS2 is designed to play both DVDs and games.
