Pomp and circumstance, full of style and lacking substance. Who cares what these people wear, 99% are given the clothes and jewelry, as a form of free advertisement for the designer.

Why should I think anything about them? The fact that they occurred at all is more than I can to know and answering this question is more effort than I wish to exert on the subject.

I thought Jimmy Fallon was very good, but I was extremely disappointed that Steve Carell didn't win and Conan. I did however enjoy looking at Jon Hamm. :)

I really could care less, to be honest. I mean sure these tv shows have worked hard to receive emmys and they should be proud that they won awards, but really I could care less. The reason for that is because it's always focused on what designer dress the actresses are wearing. I mean yeah they look nice, but really, isn't the focus supposed to be on receiving awards instead of what pieces of fabric the actresses have on? This isn't a fashion show here. It really bugs me. Seriously, I used to LOVE award shows, but lately they've gone right down the toilet.

I didn't watch it. Too boring. I love fashion, but I can see it on the internet later. I don't watch much tv, except for art and music programs.

If it makes them happy then I have no problem with it.
Frankly there is nothing on TV anymore that's worth an award - but I'm just an outsider looking inward.

Never cared. Never will. And that includes Academy Awards (actor's politics) and the rest. i occasionally do take a slight interest in the Lifetime Achievement Awards and Nobel Prize winners.
Some of the independent film awards might impress me, but only the credentials as possible recommendations, not as some ceremony i would want to watch.
