  • Well, guppies will breed pretty much no matter what. My friend has a fairly small tank (I think it's 20-30 gallons, I;m not sure) and started off with a few guppies. Even though she did nothing to provoke them, they kept breeding (she now has about 40 + the babies). Just give them their normal requirements (and some java moss for the babies to hide in) and they will breed. If you want to ensure the safety of every single baby, put a pregnant female in a "breeder net" and remove her after she gives birth. I've never bred danios, but I assume it's about the same.
