Help answer this question below.
Because some people think that working all days shows your partner that you love them. Men are especially this way. You need to know that just working all day isn't enough. You have to put in more then that like spending quality time together and affection as well.
My sister's ex-boyfriend was like that, and I talked to him about it. His perception was that he was working all day to provide money to support her and their kid, and she should be able to realize from that he loved her, because if he didn't he wouldn't be supporting her. She, of course, wasn't happy with the fact that she got literally no affection from him when he was home, and he could never seem to understand that.
I would think that if that is the perception that it is the only thing that makes the partner happy, this is very shallow.
That's human nature for you. There is more to a partnership than an 8 hour job. Both parties must be selfless and respectful of each other and know in what one's work consists. It's a constant contribution from both parties.Love makes it very easy most of the time but even with that it is only natural to have ups and downs.
The way they were brought up, the values in their family.
if they are with a lazy person, it would seem justified, but if you are indepenadant and can leave, do it. if it bothers you that much, do it.
