    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

According to Alaska's Best Home Inspection in Anchorage, termite inspections are not required by law. Alaska's climate is too cold for termites, although there are carpenter ants. Ant infestations are easy to stop if they're detected in time, but inspections for them are not required by building codes.
