Press "Ctrl" + "Shift" + "Escape." The Task Manager opens. Click on the "Processes" tab. Right-click on any process that contains the name "Internet Speed Monitor" and select "End Process."
Click on "Start" and type "regedit" into the Search Programs and Files box and press "Enter." The Registry Editor opens. Right-click on "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Internet Speed Monitor" in the left pane of the Registry Editor and select "Delete."
Click on "Start" and then type "Internet Speed Monitor" into the Search Programs and Files box. Delete any corresponding files and folders that appear. To delete a file or folder, right-click on it and select "Delete."
