  • Find out his hobbies or sports interest and get him something related to it. You could ask a friend or relative if you feel comfortable doing that.

  • Does he like games? If he has a handheld game or a playstation of some kind perhaps a voucher from a suitable shop would be in order. We, as adults, often don't like giving vouchers or money but my experience of teenagers is that they love the freedom to go shopping. They list the money gifts with glee!
  • i have to say the nintendo wii, the wii is fun for the whole family and its just great. you may think that he will sit on the couch constantly but the wii is something that you can only play for like 2 hours tops for one day then go onto some other activity. also your kid will be getting minor exercise from the wii. this personal trainer in new york has put the wii as part as his workout
