Question

Help answer this question below.

Why do I sometimes get a black screen on my 2-year-old Toshiba TV that repeats the line "<http://>[n:Default Web Site][e]"? It only shows up on some channels, NOT all channels! We have Cablevision service in Westchester, NY.

I am getting this on my LG TV. It is a little over a year old. Power cycling sometimes solves the issue but it does seem to come back. It does not seem to happen during commercials. When the show comes back on, the

I have a two year old Toshiba that's doing the same thing. Comcast says unplug it, wait, and try it again. Other than reboting the thing, any other answers?

I am having the same problem with my Sony TV which is about 4 years old. I tried unplugging it but the problem always comes back. I also have Comcast for my cable service provider. Does anyone have any other ideas?

This is almost certainly an issue with your cable provider, not your TV set.
