Although Nirvana changed drummers and guitarists a few times, the four main members of the band were lead singer and guitarist Kurt Cobain, bassist Krist Novoselic, drummer Dave Grohl and guitarist Pat Smear. The group disbanded in 1994 following Cobain's death.
