Actually, I know that if a robin flys into the house it is considered a death omen. Or if an owl looks into your house, or you see one during the day, those are also death omens. But I don't Know about birds in general

Depends on whether or not it drops a little guano while it's in your house.

Just to let you know that I had a bird sitting inside my front window one day and exactly 1 month after my 3 children's dad died... I truly believe that birds and death are associated.

It's better luck than if the door or window had been shut, as the impact often breaks their necks, meaning you have to take it round the back and crush it with a brick. You do! Unless you live in the city, then you take it to the vet and have it put down humanely so your four year old daughter doesn't cry.

Well, it has happened to us more than once and nohting particularly good has ever happened to us. Its just a pain in the ass getting the bird out of your house if you ask me!

If you believe that a bird that flies in your house is a message death then you might think that a black cat crossing your path is bad luck and if you touch a frog you'll get warts etc. It just goes back to Salem when they burned people for so called witch craft. Animals includind birds are Gods creatures and should not be viewed in such a neg way, A little wren flew in my house while I was painting. I had'nt painted or had done art for quite a while and had made apersonal contract to paint or draw for at leastv an hour a day. You see I'm kind of a beginner and sometimes I feel that I'm moving along slowly but yet I am still getting ahead a little bit more in my skills as long as I keep trying. I looked the behavoirs of wren to see if the bird was a messanger opf God and sure enough the wren was described as being fastidios and very socaible and is seen by the celts as a sign to tell me to keep up my good work and to be friendly and sociable. I have totally have thrown away old superstitions that are conected with being the bearers of bad news.. Now when a black cat crosses my path I think it is good luck. And since I have rid myself of these wicked superstitions, I now am a more positive person and see Gods creations as sending me messeges to help me in my life and not as bad omens.

There was a black bird in our house one day. It flew right into my room where me and my boyfriend were sleeping. He was frightened as all heck. Soon after his brother was killed.
