Any amount ..though smaller would cause me less pains. If small, I'd pocket it & call it my good fortune .. if not small, I'd really think of who lost what & what it meant to them .. that'd have me feeling empathy .. I'd have to try finding that person somehow .. more expense.

I'll pick up and keep anything like £1 or less, or £2, but anything more I'll be looking around for who it really belongs to... If it was an amount in the £££s with a wallet, I'd hand it to the police straight away (and hope for an honesty reward!). x

I will pick up any amount. I have a policy of donating any found money to charity, so any money I find on the ground goes into the next charity box I see at the cash desk in a store. I once found a $20.00 bill on the ground in the church parking lot - my kids were angry that it went into the collection plate because at that time, we were living on very little.

Any amount! Because it is a sign of luck and should not be ignored or rejected. But probably I would stop after a while if it were two many of them, such as 1 cent per meter for 1 km, they are easier ways to earn money!

I stop to pick up pennies, no matter what side is up. Hey, a penny's a penny and they add up! (I charge everything, but I carry some cash and change so that I can make exact change at the few places that don't accept credit cards, which are pretty much dollar and thrift/second-hand stores.)

A penny. They add up, I have a jar that I always put coins in. Once every few months, I'll sit down while watching TV, roll them up, and I suddenly have ten extra dollars.

For the sake of science I am willing to test myself. I'll need your help though, you'll have to drop smaller and smaller sums of your money on the floor to see what I'm willing to pick up. We'll start with, say, a thousand dollars - OK?
