If we give murderers the death penalty why don't we rape rapists? (I'm not suggesting that we should)

I don't believe the death penalty should be allowed to exist therefore raping rapists would not make sense either.

The way I see it, if murder is wrong for one person, it should be wrong for everyone. Most civilized countries (with the exception of the good ole USA) feel this way

A lot of rapists DO get raped in prison, for a start. The second point is that our methods of execution/punishment aren't drawn out and inhumane like the punishments of old, which were more meant to be a public deterrant than today's punishments (think William Wallace's execution at the end of 'Braveheart') - instead we retelliate a taking of life with a lot more mercy than that which the murderer showed his victim. Also, if we were to enact the punishment of rape for rape, you've got to think about the effect it would have on the person doling out the punishment - whether with his penis or with some kind of implement; as far as I know, the executioners of the death penalty in the states don't actually know which of them has flipped the switch/pressed the button.

Where is the logic in your question, who is going to do the raping, they get raped in jail any ways, you can find some disturbing material in that regard on the web...

haah... its hilarious :) I've always heard that in prisons, if you're a rapist and/or commit any crimes against children, they'll rape you... like IN the prison. So, I know this is terrible, but when I hear of terrible criminals like that, I always hope they're violently raped by like some huge scary guy, so they know what it's like... its evil, I know

The reason that rapists don't get raped is because we do not follow an "eye for an eye" justice system. The reasoning behind the death penalty is to remove a person that is considered too dangerous for rehabilitation or not worth the risk of escape if they were to be incarcerated.

i think rapest should be put in a cell with dog food on there privets and they shold throw some stalwing dogs in with them

Because the "rape penalty" hasn't been made...still, it doesn't stop people from getting their own personal justice it seems.

Have you seen what happens to a rapist when the soap 'accidently' falls to floor in a prison?...
