  • Oh yes they do! That's only when urine is present in the bladder though. They also go through a final bowel movement if conversely, the bodily waste is present in the bowels. Here's why: Shortly after death, all muscles in the body start to relax. What controls the release of urine, the "floodgate" if you will, is a muscle in the bladder called a "sphincter". The sphincter also relaxes when you die, so the bladder evacuates the urine out. Therefore, you pee your final pee post-mortem, if there's any urine in your bladder at the time of death.
  • If when you say 'at the time of death', you mean right before it, some humans and animals will urinate and defecate right before death too, because of the 'fight or flight' response, and when they do that, it makes them lighter, and able to run faster. Sometimes it's to late, but it happens anyways.
  • It's not unusual to goto the bathroom before taking a long trip.
  • erm, ok... i cant get rid of this answer -.- was a mistake =o i dont know if dead people 'urinate' >.>
  • Some do, some don't. Relaxation of muscles keeping the orifices closed releases urine. However, this doesn't always happen.
